Allow email rotation for Surveys
We currently use the "Surveys" module to invite customers to leave a review at ResellerRatings.com. We have experienced great success with this method. However, ResellerRatings (RR) is not the only game in town. There is PriceGrabber (PG) Reviews, Nextag (NT), etc...
To get a more reviews distributed among these different channels we could:
1. Change the email template to invite a choice of possible sites to submit a review. However, my concern is that this would confuse the issue.
For example, the "bait" in the email subject line to entice a review is the possiblility to win and iPad2 that RR offers, but the others sites PG and NT do not offer this. Therefore subject line bait becomes inaccurate.
2. Allow a rotation of several emails to be used. One as an invite for RR, one for PG, and one for NT.
With that said, I my suggestion is to allow an email template rotation feature.
Rick, how do you envision the rotation? Do certain customers only get Reseller Ratings email while others get Price Grabber?
